Waste Carriers License
We have been granted a license by the Environment Department to carry and dispose of controlled waste. Some types if invasive weed are classified as controlled waste and need to be disposed of in a bio secure way. This includes Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed and Himalayan Balsam.
Using a licensed waste carrier will ensure that ALL waste is disposed of appropriately including problem weeds such as ivy and buddleia.
Fly tipping by illegal operators is a major cause of invasive weed spread in the UK. The Environment Department have powers to prosecute offenders who may face unlimited fines if found guilty.
